Funded by the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC), the first 2015 Behavioral Health Conference: "Building Healthier Communities" was held on June 17-18 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. More than 350 attendees enjoyed two full days of workshops and plenary speakers including a key note address by the former US Representative The Honorable Patrick Kennedy. The conference concluded with a panel discussion on the State of Mental Health and Substance Abuse in Broward County featuring local community leaders.
